I Love, Love, Love, Love, Love You

If you need a lesson on love or for Valentine’s Day, check out “I Love, Love, Love, Love, Love You” below. It’s based on Gary Chapman’s 5 Love Languages and teaches kids 5 ways to show love to others, especially their parents. It also challenges them to come up with their own ideas based on the 5 ways. This lesson is good for any age and short so there’s more time for the activity options.

I also simplified the wording to make it easy to understand for younger kids. Here’s a preview:

5 Ways to Show Love (5 Love Languages)

  1. Loving Words (Words of Affirmation)
  2. Being Helpful (Acts of Service)
  3. Special Gifts (Receiving Gifts)
  4. Special Time Together (Quality Time)
  5. Loving Hands (Physical Touch)

The lesson also includes 5 printables with graphics you can show to non-readers to help them visualize the 5 Ways to Show Love.
